Austin is meat-obsessed, so it makes sense that its charcuterie options are the very best. This means slices of salumi, coppa, sausages, spreadables like pate and chunky rillettes, meaty headcheese (dairy not involved), and other types of delicious, cold, cured meats. Dress ‘em with various accoutrements: jams, honey, mustard seeds, pickles, and of course, a good board is not complete with bread. It doesn’t hurt that it all pairs very well with wine.

Excellent charcuterie boards in Austin can be found at restaurants and bars like butcher shop Salt & Time (which includes its famous coffee lomo), pizza pairings at Bufalina, ranch-inspired cuts from Contigo, and more. This update includes boards from Small Victory, Roosevelt Room, Eberly, and Pizzeria Sorellina. Sadly, Henri isn’t on the map after catching on fire last year.

For more snacky bites, seek out Austin’s best wine and cheese spots, happy hour, and raw oysters.
