It’s no surprise that Austin loves concerts; the city is officially known as the Live Music Capital of the World since 1991, although the moniker has been used casually for way longer than that. In addition to gigantic annual music festivals (ahem, Austin City Limits the music festival), there are hundreds of live music venues across the city, and several major ones hosting some of the biggest touring acts today.

While not every venue has outstanding food or drinks (hey, sometimes a vodka soda will do when the performance is that good), many in town boast amazing food trucks, like White Horse’s Bomb Tacos or C-Boy’s Heart & Soul’s Halal Y’all ATX Weird Food. And, others have delicious foods made in-house, like Broken Spoke, or festive-themed food nights, like Sahara Lounge’s Africa Night with a free buffet dinner. Prepare to rock out, boot scoot, or get jazzy with a drink at Austin’s best live music venues.
